Unlike Summer 2020, we actually have a decent number of anime this fall.
From wholesome sports to adventures, fantasy, love, comedy, and even downright horror. We have a considerable amount of fairly decent anime. Who knows? We might even get to see wholesomeness in its raw form, in one of these anime.
Well then, let’s talk about them and see what are they about?
10-Iwa Kakeru! Sport Climbing Girls

Based in high school, the story centers around a sports climbing club.
The main character Konomi Kasahara had been fairly active in her junior high school, she used to participate in puzzle game tournaments all the time, which led to her eventually making a big name for herself.
However, now that she is in high school, she gets incredibly enticed by this whole idea of climbing and that’s basically the plot of this anime.
Now the reason why this anime is interesting is not just because it’s about climbing, it’s because it’s about cute girls climbing.
And that little something makes all the difference.
9-Munou na Nana

The story takes place in the future where Earth got a little wrecked by some monsters who later, unsurprisingly, came to be known as the “enemy of humans”.

And then there is the main character, she gets admitted to one of these schools despite having no apparent ability. Notice how I said “apparent”
That’s right, what she lacks in raw talent, she can make up for it using intelligence and a little bit of manipulation.
Don’t even think about comparing her with Midoriya though…
8-Tonikaku Kawaii

Seems like we are about to get a pretty wholesome romance anime this fall.

But as he was fully raptured by the beauty of this girl, an unforeseen accident happens and he almost kicks the bucket.
Fortunately, he gets saved by the same girl and just then at that very moment…he somehow finds the courage to confess to her…
This is the anime adaption of highly rated manga.
So it is safe to have high hopes for this one!
7-Majo no Tabitabi

This one is about a cute witch who travels to different countries and experiences different things.
The plot goes like this, once upon a time, there was a witch named Elaina, she set off on a journey across the world.
In her travels she would meet all sorts of people and species.
As she meets with different people, she would become a fragment of their story and her own view of the world would also get a little bit bigger.
Now this anime is not going to be a big story with some massive plot or something. Instead it’s going to be a collection of short yet wholesome little stories.
6-Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (2020)

5-Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko

4-Adachi to Shimamura

She dreamt about kissing Shimamura.
Now before you judge this story as something weird, I just want you to know what the manga readers think: the story is a deep emotionally captivating ride with some of the best written shoujo ai characters there are.
